It is thinner than tung oil, making it easier to apply without the addition of a solvent. However, hemp oil is less durable and waterproof than tung oil. Hemp oil is food safe and works especially well on lightly used items.

Kanabat's hemp hurd is grown in France and distributed in the US via Americhanvre. According to the manufacturer, Kanabat is certified building grade by the Construire en Chanvre.

Hempire's Fifth Element hempcrete binder avoids cement. Per Manufacturer, this binder allows the creation of hempcrete with a dry density of around 260 kg/m3 (16.2 lb/ ft3) with improved thermal properties. The binder is mixed with hemp hurd and water and can be used in in-situ casting, spraying, fabrication of prefab panels, bricks, or blocks. The Manufacturer is registered in the US since 2018 and starting in 2021 distributes from within the country.

Limestrong's Artisan lime plasters are a healthier alternative to traditional wall finishes like paint. This plaster is made of lime, pumice, and a plant-based binder, all sourced from within the US. It is available in 3 finishes of varying levels of shine - Marble, Stone, and Sand. Limestrong uses natural pigments only and has created a palette of 98 colors using a combination of 8 naturally occurring minerals. These plasters are petrochemical and fragrance-free.

Hemp Ecosystem's HES-MIX is a 100% natural premixed hemplime. It can be used for non-load bearing wall construction, insulation as well as for flooring construction. Made from hemp hurd and hydrated lime, it has a lower carbon footprint than conventional wall-assemblies. It is naturally fire resistant, rot/pest resistant, and humidity regulating. The drying time is approximately 2 days. So called" HES-plus" which is natural minerals from crushed stone can speed up the dry time.

Heritage's Natural Hydraulic lime plaster is a traditional recipe from hydraulic lime and silica sand only. It can be used for repairs of plaster and stucco for buildings originally constructed without Portland Cement. It is breathable, allowing for increased moisture ventilation. Hydraulic lime can cure even in damp/wet conditions and is most suitable as plaster on porous construction materials such as brick, or stone. The Lime Stucco/Plaster comes as a dry material, water is mixed in on-site.

Homeland Hempcrete provides cast-in-place hempcrete wall assemblies. The hemp insulation is cast in timber wood framing. This hempcrete is a mix of hemp hurd, water, lime, and pozzolan. Their pre-made, pre-cured high-quality hemp wall panels are perfect for custom designs. They focus on localized supply chains, servicing most of their own installations. You can also purchase prefabricated wall assembly kits of four 4x8ft panels, lead time is about 6-8 weeks.

HempBLOCK USA pre-casts hempcrete into interlocking blocks. The LB 300 load-bearing system is for in-fill walls and load-bearing walls in both residential and commercial construction. The interlocking hempcrete block options include standard, post, and bond beam blocks. No mortar is required. Walls can be clad, rendered, or plastered after installation. Hemp is great for temperature regulation due to its open cell structure to allow moisture flow. Production is currently in France, but aim to have US-based production in 2025.

Americhanvre's ErEASY is an efficient hemplime spray system. The spray is made of hemp hurd, water and binder 120 comprised of Vicat cement and a hydrated lime. The 120 binder is sourced from France and in future will be produced in the US. The application system is made of 100% American-Made components. The use of the system can speed up installation time and provides consistency in the mix. Trainings are provided.
