An Altruistic Plea for Building and Occupant Health

Inherent in the definition of altruism exists two words that are essential in the quest towards healthier buildings. [ All ] the entire quantity or extent and [ True ] in accordance with fact or reality. How is it that two seemingly simple words can become so illegibly tangled when attempting to uncover the whole truth of of building material composition? Jonsara Ruth, founding member of The Healthy Materials Lab and contributor to the highly praised “Designed for the Future: 80 Practical Idea’s for a Sustainable World” made an altruistic please to “eliminate trash and chemicals” from building materials.
